Pedal Services is now serving Bucking Horse Neighborhood!

Pedal Services LLC is a locally owned mobile bike repair service now offering services to the Bucking Horse Neighborhood! Knowing how active our neighborhood is, we thought this service might come in handy for you and your neighbors this summer.

A little bit about them: “Our service eliminates the inconvenience of taking your bike(s) to the local bike shop for service by bringing the bike mechanic to your home or location of your choice. Most services are completed on the same day. You also get the benefit of being able to talk with the bike mechanic, they are always happy to take time to answer your questions or go over basic bike maintenance. For more information you can visit our website www.pedalservicesco.com or find us on Facebook.”

Snow Removal Update

Please see the important message below about snow removal for this weekends storm! Also, please stay off the hill on Kerry Hill Drive where the new park is being worked on. There are big rocks at the bottom of that hill and sledding will cause damage to the work that has been done there already. Thank you!

Dear Bucking Horse Neighbors,

Please see Precision's snow removal plan for the next few days:

"Due to the incoming winter storm, our snow removal procedures will change compared to past storms. The current duration of the storm is spread over multiple days which poses a problem with our "wait until it stops" policy. During this storm, expect multiple removals (at least 2). We cannot get to everyone at the same time so we ask for your patience as we remove this heavy wet snow. Current forecasts are projecting approximately 18 inches of accumulation starting tonight and ending early Monday morning. We will wait for a "lull" in the storm before we commence the first removal to allow our crews some time to catch up. Labor laws will come into effect this storm. We cannot have our crews working for days on end with no sleep so once the first removal is complete, we will send them home for at least 12 hours to get some rest before re-deploying. We have purchased and rented additional machines to help with the removal since this depth of snow is very difficult to use shovels in."

Thank you for your patience as snow removal efforts continue throughout the week. So we can prioritize needs and manage our budget, please continue to direct all comments to Kellison at mgthoa@kellisoncorp.net. Please do not contact Precision directly.

Community Coordinator - Not Available June 13-14

Hi All,

I wanted you all to know that I am getting married this weekend! I only tell you because I will not be available.

I know there have been many questions about the pool, and that it is inconvenient timing for me to be unavailable, but I didn’t plan on this all happening at the same time!

I will do my best to get everyone the info they need, but this weekend I will not be available at all. Read through my previous posts to try and answer your own questions, ask the neighbors, ask lifeguards, as our pool manager… I will get to your email from the weekend as soon as possible.

In addition, if you sign up for the pool later than Friday at 10:00 am, I cannot promise you will be in the system until Monday. Thanks for everyone’s patience and understanding. This process truly hasn’t been easy for anyone, it has been a lot of work for many people - the board, the pool, the lifeguards… and will continue to be a work in progress :) We have never done this before either - obviously, and we know this system isn’t perfect. But thank you for trying to understand and work with what is going on right now.

Best,

Dani Hart

Pool Opening - Answered Waiver Questions...

There are questions about if a waiver is needed for those that have turned one in for swim team already and if we really need to collect one per household member. The first answer is yes, you will need an additional one separate from swim team. The second answer is no. We changed it for you! Here is a new WAIVER that can include your whole household. Please bring this in person to the pool to get in.

Pool Opening - How to Log In!!

We are experiencing difficulty with those that have registered getting the initial email. If you haven't received the email, but did fill out the Google Form. Do the following:

Go to buckinghorsepool.com and click "Sign in Here” in the top left corner. Use the email you signed up with and use the pin, 1111.

If it doesn't let you in, then you aren't in the system yet. Please be patient. We will get you in the system!! There are so many people. But we are trying our absolute best.

Pool Opening - Lap Swim

If you would like to participate in lap swim hours, the first open day will be Wednesday, June 10th. In order to participate, you will have to come IN PERSON to the pool during open hours at least one day before your first reservation. You will just tell the lifeguard at the desk that you would like to sign the waiver for lap swim. You must be 18 years or older to do so. They will then give you instructions for entry.
